# Pinterest Not Working? Complete Fix Guide

## 🔧 Fix 1 — Clear Your Pinterest Session

The single most effective fix. A stale login session causes most blank-feed and infinite-loading problems.

### On Desktop (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera)

1. Open Pinterest and press **Ctrl + Shift + R** (Windows) or **Cmd + Shift + R** (Mac) for a hard refresh
2. Still broken? Open a **private/incognito window** and load Pinterest there
3. If it works in incognito → your regular session is the problem:
   * Go to **Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and site data**
   * Search for `pinterest.com` → **Remove**
   * Log back into Pinterest

> 💡 **Why incognito matters:** it disables extensions and ignores stored cookies. If Pinterest works there, you've narrowed the cause to one of those two things — not Pinterest itself.

### On Safari (Mac)

Ad-blockers, privacy extensions, and script blockers frequently break Pinterest's image loading and infinite scroll.

### How to isolate the conflict

1. Go to `chrome://extensions`

## 🖼️ Fix 3 — Images Not Loading

Pinterest loads images from its own CDN (`i.pinimg.com`). If that host is blocked, you get a grey grid.

### Try in order

1. **Disable your ad blocker** on pinterest.com specifically
2. **Check your DNS** — some DNS filters (AdGuard DNS, Pi-hole, corporate DNS) block Pinterest's image CDN
3. **Switch networks** — try mobile data instead of Wi-Fi (or vice versa)
4. **Disable VPN** temporarily — some VPN exit nodes are rate-limited by Pinterest
5. **Try a different browser** to confirm it isn't browser-specific
